Dar Moha (81 rue Dar el Bacha, Marrakech) – international visitors come to Dar Moha simply because of the reputation of its location, tucked inside the medina within the former residence of the Pasha of Marrakech and later fashion icon Pierre Balmain. Here, a prix fixe menu begins with a selection of 10 or so traditional salads and spreads (served with homemade flatbread as well as selection of hearty appetizers). The main course tends to be a mix of seafood (such as monkfish and lobster) and meat-minded tanjines served with fresh couscous and hearty portions of adventurous quail, game hen and chicken.
