Place des Nations Unies (Casablanca) – for those visitors who have already immersed themselves into Casablanca’s old districts, this is the focal point of Casablanca’s downtown district as well as where the modern city meets the traditional medina. A wasteland in the early 1900s, it is now a busy conglomeration of offices, banks, restaurants, and shops. Fancy hotels like the Hyatt Regency can be found here as well.
