TAXI
TAXIS – Before the more modern trams came along, many locals and visitors got around Casablanca by taking what are called “Petit taxis” (which can usually carry up to three passengers, and are usually metered). The Fiat Uno and Peugeot 206 models are the typical vehicles used by such drivers. Of course, individuals can negotiate a reasonable fare with a driver if he/she wants the taxi to him/herself (a short taxi ride can cost DHM 15). Note: taxi prices double after 8:00 pm.
