Theatro (Rue Ibrahim El Mazini, Es Saadi Grdens & Resort, Marrakech 40000) – 60 years ago, Marrakech was celebrating one of the first music hall scenes in Africa: the Theatre Es Saadi, where international musical entertainers like Josephine Baker, Charles Aznavour, and the Lido dancers have performed. In 2003, the Theatro was reopened, transformed as an extravagant nightspot with its unique architecture and exclusive form of entertainment. Nowadays, the night scene here still rages, with a regular roster of shows for its international patrons. Given the large number of patrons that come here, Theatro is one of the most popular venues in Marrakech.
