Villa des Arts de Casablanca (30 boulevard Brahim Roudani near Rue Abou El Kacem Chabi, Casablanca) – this gallery is part of the ONA Foundation, one of Morocco’s primary cultural foundations. The Foundation’s primary aim is to promote creativity and culture in the country — while paying deference to Moroccan culture and heritage. ONA focuses on universal themes, such as protection of the environment and human well-being, in other words, issues which make us “citizens of the world”, and demonstrate the need for coexistence, tolerance and intellectual enrichment. Built in 1934, the gallery (which is the first private museum in this city) is a fine example of Art Deco architecture. Free admission. Hours: 9:30 am – 7:00 pm (daily except Sundays, Mondays and public holidays).
